The Bernie Spectrum: In the wake of the reality that he will not be the nominee. The way I see it, I think there is a Bernie
supporter spectrum and we currently are all on different places on it now that Hillary Clinton is officially nominated to be the Democratic Party's candidate.
Acceptance, Reluctance, Anger, Sadness, Denial, Jill Stein, Hopefully
not, screw it, then Trump and on and on. And my hope is that we each
will take the time we need to process and hopefully take a few steps
back and truly look at the reality and the consequences ahead of us. I
understand. The candidate that I supported with my heart, time and
money did not make it and that sucks. I am into day 7 of major party
conventions, which I have watched as many hours of each as I can, and I
know where I am on the spectrum. I am for hope vs. negativity. Love vs.
hate. Unity vs. divisiveness. Unbigoted vs. bigoted. Open-minded vs.
close-minded. Optimism vs. pessimism. Courage vs. fear. But, take your
time. Weigh the pros and cons of the only two viable choices we have.
I am here if you would like to weigh them out. And, have hope for our
future. And, continue to be part of that change and don't turn your
back on it.
